Due to the current government guidelines with COVID, we are offering a reduced timetable capped to 15 children. There is a waiting list once classes are full.
All children's classes are held at West End Primary School in Horsforth.
Ballet is a classical dance form. It originates from the Paris Opera. It has evolved through the years to suit the needs of the ballerina. Most ballets represent traditional fairy tales and stories.
Tap is one of the most rhythmical forms of dance. It is an essential skill for the professional dancer. Its origins are based within African, Irish and clog dancing. Dancers use the sole of their foot to produce different beats and rhythms.
Jazz is a collective name for a variety of styles, these include Fosse, Blues, Lyrical, Street, Hip Hop and Commercial. Jazz has developed into these styles to correlate with popular music.
Cheerdance is a mixture of cheerleading and dance techniques. Children learn set routine and can either take part for fun, competitively or for performance purposes.
